Favorite genre
Fantasy. There’s no getting around this one. While I love romance, at the end of day I still gravitate towards fantasy and all the wonderful things it offers to me both as a reader and as an author.
the basics
Reading has always been a huge part of my life, but it wasn’t until 2017 that I started writing. My first publication is coming out in 2024. Currently, after moving about a bit, I’ve settled into the Netherlands, where I live here with my significant other and our dog, Kara.
Writing
Worldbuilding is the reason I gravitate towards fantasy as a genre, but it’s my characters that drive the story. Often to the point that I have no idea what’s going to happen and I’m just along for the ride.

The bane of all questions. This is impossible to answer, there’s no way. I’ll give you my best try, but first, let’s put some qualifications in place. The following book(s) is(are) my favorite fiction book(s) that I’ve read in the last 5 years. Sounds good? Okay, here we go.
Lost Boy by Christina Henry
This is How You Lose the Time War by Amal El-Mohtar and Max Gladstone
Angels’ Blood by Nalini Singh
The Martian by Andy Weir

Favorite and comfort food
Pizza. You can’t really go wrong with pizza, be it frozen, from Naples, New York style or anything else in between. When I’m gravitating towards the comfort food version of pizza, it’s tuna-pineapple. (Yes, pineapple belongs in pizza. I’m willing to die on this hill. In fact, if you don’t like pineapple in your pizza, that’s fine. More pineapple pizza for me. If you do like it, I guess we can be friends and share.)
And ice-cream. Again, there really is no wrong answer here. Gelato, sorbet, chocolate, strawberry, pistachio, weird flavors or mix of several. My comfort flavor of ice-cream is Ben & Jerry’s Chunky Monkey. It’s a heavenly mix of all the things I love, banana ice-cream, chocolate and nuts.
Teasers
All I wanted was just one night. One night where I could stop and breathe, one night to drink disgusting, warm beer in peace. One night where my shadow would ignore idiots like the man staggering to his feet.
Shadows that hunt
Sumitrana stopped and took in the man kneeling on the ground. His shoulders were wide, jaw squared and clean shaven. She couldn’t spy the color of his downcast eyes, but she would bet they were blue. In fact, she was so sure that if they weren’t, she would let him go.
